Infrastructure Engineer - Identity and Directory Service Pod (Dallas, TX or Bettendorf, IA - hybrid)
Job Description
Position Summary:
The Infrastructure Engineer - Identity and Directory Services Pod will deliver and support infrastructure solutions at Triumph. This role will build, manage and improve the infrastructure systems providing services in support of the day-to-day operations, critical projects, and strategic growth of the business. They will specialize in supporting key IT systems which are used enterprise wide which bring Triumph team members together virtually. The technologies supported by the Identity and Directory Services pod include Active Directory (Azure AD/Entra), Certificate Services, Password Management, and Okta. The successful candidate will need to be able to develop solutions and provide guidance to other technical teams. This role will also be responsible for creating and updating documentation, systems assessments and reporting results. This role will also be expected to be a tier 3 escalation point for Incident tickets and service requests.
A Day in the Life:
Proactively gather information and utilize analytical and creative problem-solving skills, alongside standard processes, and technologies, to create efficient, secure, and reliable solutions for the business.
Provide technical support for IDS team solutions and services.
Create and maintain documents for procedures/processes.
Collaborate with team members and software vendors to design, implement, and test systems.
Accountable for use of services, handling of sensitive data, and resolving incidents and requests in compliance with FFIEC regulations.
Researches and stays current with advances in technologies; recommends change and updates accordingly.
Identify areas of improvement and proactively develop plans to improve IDS related systems.
?Manages production and pre-production technology systems in a hybrid cloud/datacenter environment.
Creates automation through modern scripting methods such as PowerShell.
Respond to tickets and all other issues in a timely manner according to response SLA.
Participates in a 24x7 on-call rotation.
Tune and refine existing systems to reduce Service Desk workload by preventing tickets from recurring.
Attend weekly pod meetings to discuss progression through assigned engineering efforts and collaborate with others in the department.

Must be able to receive and follow instructions given by senior leadership but also be able to offer meaningful alternatives if necessary.
Ability to thoroughly explore and research the depths of an issue and remain persistent in understanding the root cause of issues.

Achieve and expand operational excellence.
Mentor other technical team members within Triumph.
These skills are a must for the job:
5+ years’ experience in an IT technical role in either Systems Administration/Engineering.
In-depth understanding of Active Directory management, including how to manage multi domain environments.
Basic or better understanding of Okta and its functions.
Proficient in both on-premises and cloud environments, including Entra.
Working knowledge of basic networking concepts.
Moderate or better skill with a modern scripting language such as PowerShell.
Working knowledge of common infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, etc.
Ability to manage and expand enterprise monitoring systems.
Outstanding ability to develop / maintain technical documentation including diagrams, knowledge base articles and RCA’s.
Understand Kanban workflow and be able to work within the confines of structured project management system.
