Job Description

Position Summary: The Enterprise Pricing Manager will oversee pricing strategy and execution across the Triumph Financial enterprise. This individual will reside in the Finance organization and collaborate across departments to ensure pricing is competitive, optimized for profitability, and aligned with the company’s strategic goals. They will be responsible for developing and managing pricing models, playing a key role in negotiating enterprise-level deals, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. This role will require expertise in both pricing strategies and complex contract structures, as well as the ability to work cross-functionally with sales, finance, product management, and legal teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Enterprise pricing strategy: Develop and implement pricing strategies for products across multiple lines of business, ensuring alignment with company goals and profitability targets.

  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with sales, strategy, product, finance, and legal teams to create pricing models that are competitive and consistent across different product offerings.

  • Pricing optimization: Continuously evaluate pricing structures and models to ensure they meet market demands, customer needs, and profitability requirements. Provide sales leads with data and recommendations around cross sell and upsell opportunities.

  • Pricing model implementation: Develop and maintain pricing models including base prices, discounts, promotions, and tiered pricing structures.

  • Customer segmentation and deal structuring: Understand enterprise customers’ needs to create tailored pricing structures that reflect the value proposition while maximizing revenue.

  • Contract negotiations: Assist in negotiating pricing for enterprise contracts, ensuring favorable terms for the company while meeting customer requirements.

  • Data analysis and reporting: Monitor the effectiveness of pricing strategies through KPIs, market analysis, and performance tracking. Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership on pricing initiatives.

  • Market research: Conduct market research to track industry pricing trends, competitor strategies, and customer expectations to maintain competitive pricing.

  • Financial acumen: develop a deep understanding of the unit economics associated with Triumph products and services, including Triumph’s cost structure and the value delivered to the customer.

  • Training & guidance: Provide pricing guidance and training to sales teams, ensuring they understand and can effectively communicate pricing strategies to clients.

  • Pricing governance & compliance: Ensure pricing structures and practices adhere to legal, regulatory, and company guidelines.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Experience & Education

  • At least 7 years of experience in pricing, sales operations, or financial analysis, with a strong understanding of complex pricing models.

  • Experience with pricing for multiple product lines or within a multi-business enterprise environment.

  • Experience in data analysis, pricing strategy development, and the ability to translate customer requirements into effective pricing solutions.

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, marketing, or related field. Master’s degree or professional certifications are a plus.

  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex pricing models and strategies clearly to both internal teams and customers.

  • Problem solving: Ability to identify pricing challenges, propose creative solutions, and implement them effectively.

  • Technology proficiency: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
